SERVED IN COMPANY A, 110TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, 28TH INFANTRY DIVISION BEGINNING NOVEMBER 12, 1944. A REPLACEMENT IN THE BATTLE FOR THE HUERTGEN FOREST. THEN SAW COMBAT IN THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE, THE COLMAR POCKET AND THE INVASION OF GERMANY VIA THE CROSSING OF THE RHINE AT REMAGEN. SERVED IN THE OCCUPATION FORCE OF SAARBRUCKEN DUDWEILER, GERMANY.
