Activity During WWII

Lieutenant Junior Grade. Sonar Officer aboard the USS Craven DD-382 destroyer. Duty in the South Seas. Acquired lung disease Coccidiomycosis in Naval training in Tucson, Arizona in 1942. Came home ill. Died in 1951 of a brain tumor that was thought to be casually related to his lung disease.
