Entered the service on September 8, 1944. Served in the Air Corps as a service pilot. Ferried all kinds of fighter aircraft from factory to Army air fields including P-39, P-47, P-51 and P-63 aircraft. Also ferried some TE C-47 aircraft. Also flew C-46 for training for regular TE pilot specialty. Flew approximately 800 hours. Separated on November 12, 1945.
