Activity During WWII

Sworn into the Army on December 20, 1942. Sailed to Europe the following year on the Queen Mary. Ship had no escort and sailed on zigzag course to the Fifth of Clyde, Scotland. While in Europe, stationed in England, France, Belgium and Germany with the 332nd Engineers General Service Regiment building bridges. Related stories about 'buzz bombs' falling long, short and to either side in Northern Liege. November 23, 1945 discharged at Camp Chaffee with the rank of Corporal.
