Served as Rifleman with the 10th Infantry, Fifth 'Red Diamond' Division, Third Army. Awarded the Sharp Shooter Medal and two Purple Hearts. Killed on January 28, 1945 in Luxembourg. Interred at the Ham Cemetery, Luxembourg.
