Served July 1943 to January 1946. Signalman School to March 1944; with Marines for 6 weeks then to Monrovia (APA-31). Involved in landings from Saipan to end of war. Also in China and Japan, 4 battle stars, Asiatic-Pacific, 2 liberty stars. Discharged January 1946 Signalman 2nd Class. Involved on - Saipan, Guam, Leyte Gulf, Luzon, Lingayen Gulf, Guadalcanal, Tulagi, Ulithi Atoll, and Okinawa.
