SERVED WITH BATTERY 'A', 67TH ANTI-AIRCRAFT ARTILLERY GUN BATTALION (MOBILE), ATTACHED TO THE U.S. 5TH AND 7TH ARMIES. SERVED OVERSEAS IN NORTH AFRICA, ITALY, FRANCE AND GERMANY. SAW ACTION IN THE TUNISIA, NAPLES-FOGGIA, ROME-ARNO, SOUTHERN FRANCE, RHINELAND AND CENTRAL EUROPE CAMPAIGNS. AWARDED THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH 6 BRONZE SERVICE STARS, WWII VICTORY MEDAL, ARMY OF OCCUPATION MEDAL WITH GERMANY CLASP, SHARPSHOOTER BADGE WITH RIFLE BAR AND THE FRENCH CROIX DE GUERRE WITH PALM (UNIT AWARD).
