Activity During WWII

Drafted September 1942; training at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, October 1942 to February 1943. Sent to Camp Howze, Gainesville, Texas, 86th Infantry. April 1943 he came down with pneumonia. Transferred to Army Hospital at Fort Sheridan and medically discharged, August 1942. Moved to Tucson, Arizona for health reasons and drove a Red Cross Ambulance during the war.
