Activity During WWII

Armys 9th Infantry Division, 47th Infantry Regiment, The Raiders. He was awarded the Bronze Star, the Army of Occupation Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge and 7 Star representing Major Battles. He served in European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign, Sicily, Tunisia, Central Europe, Normandy into Germany, the Battle of the Bulge and also the fighting in the Ardennes and the Huertgen Forest. He was also awarded the American Campaign Medal and the Belgian Fourragere for combat efforts to Liberate Belgium and the WWII Victory Medal.
