Served in Central Europe with the 435th Headquarters Technical Communications Group. Unit saw action in Ardennes, Rhineland, Northern France, Southern France and other theatres. Was awarded 7 Bronze Stars. After being discharged in 1945, joined the Missouri Air National Guard 131st CAM Squadron at Lambert Field as a full time reservist. Retired in 1983.
