Activity During WWII

Killed by a Japanese sniper. The automatic rifleman was killed and he ran to the gun and took up the fight. He broke the attack and killed 35 Japanese before he died in front of his position. This was near the Gusukuma Village on Okinawa Island. He reflected the highest caliber of military service. Entered service November 3, 1942. Killed May 4, 1945.
