Activity During WWII

Entered service September 1944. Trained at Fort Benning, Georgia; Miami Beach, Florida; aerial gunner school, Lowery Field, Denver, Colorado; and Barksdale Field, Louisiana. Served in the Army Air Forces as a tail gunner on a B-26 Marauder. Reported missing in action over Germany on February 14, 1945. Prior to entering the armed forces, he conducted a dental laboratory, was married and had two children; an 8 year old daughter and a son who celebrated his first birthday on the date his father was listed missing. Buried in 1950.
