Activity During WWII

Served October 30, 1942 to January 29, 1944 in the Army Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant, Engineer and Waist Gunner on B-17. Lost his life on January 29, 1944 when his plane collided with a German fighter over Frankfurt, Germany. His remains were repatriated in 1949 and he was laid to rest April 21, 1949 near his family. He was awarded Purple Heart and European Theater and American Defense medals.
