Jumped into Normandy with 101st Airborne Division. Captured 6/17/44 and spent 6 months as a POW in France, Germany and Poland Oflag 64. Escaped and fled to Russia and returned from Odessa. Returned to my unit at Dusseldorf, Germany and remained with Occupation Troops until 1946. Received European-African-Middle Eastern Medal, WWII Victory Medal and other medals.
