Activity During WWII

Served as intelligence staff officer with the 42nd Bomb Group. Collected, prepared, and disseminated target information, air sea rescue information, escape and evasion procedure to combat crews with the 13th Air Force in the south, southwest, and western Pacific areas. Was responsible for the issuance of navigation charts, all allied navigation aids as well as target sightings, such as all enemy activity including flak and interception noting tactics used. This information was disseminated to proper authorities. Was also responsible for public relations, awards and historical records within the squadron.
