Served in the 167th Field Artillery Battalion. Served from September 10, 1942 to February 11, 1946. Stationed in Japan from September 7, 1945 to February 3, 1946; immediately after the atomic bomb was dropped. Received the Victory medal, American Theatre ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre ribbon and the Good Conduct medal.
