Entered service in 1941 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. Sent to Camp Grant, Illinois and Camp Breckenridge, Kentucky. Went to Mississippi to Officer Training Corps (OTC). From there he went to Fort Knox, Kentucky then overseas. Served in England, Cirencester. Member in the Medical Corps.
