Activity During WWII

Entered the Air Corps in 1942; advanced navigation 6-43. Foggia, Italy 12-43 from Tunis, Tunisia. Mission 35 on 2/25/44. En route to Regensburg, Germany in a B-17 named 'Tadlur II'. Downed over Austria. Hayden and six crewmen killed, three became prisoners of war.
