Battle of the Bulge, POW. 75th Division, 290th Company. Captured by the Germans on December 26, 1944 at the Battle of the Bulge and was made to walk 300 miles to Grolsheim, Germany; worked along the way. He weighed 90 pounds when he was released on April 29, 1945.
