Activity During WWII

Served with 304th Air Base Squad, and in 1944 transferred to U.S. Army 956th Ordnance Company. U.S. Army Infantry, Technician 5th class. Served honorably from April 1, 1942 to January 16, 1946 when he died at Fletcher General Hospital, Cambridge, Ohio. He was awarded the following decorations: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Service Star (Central Europe), Bronze Service Star (Rhineland), American Theatre Ribbon, WWII Victory Medal and European Theatre of Operations Medal.
