Inducted on March 28, 1941. Served with the 470th Medical Collecting Company in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. Awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal an the WWII Victory Medal. Honorably discharged on November 8, 1945.
