Activity During WWII

The 9th Air Force, 440th Troop Carrier Group, 98th Squadron. Was a Radio Operator on a C-47. Participated in D-Day, dropped airborne troops, re-supplied mission and evacuated the wounded. Dropped paratroopers and gliders during Market Garden in Holland. Took gliders across at Remagen Bridge. Also in numerous re-supply missions to General Patton near the end of the war.
