Plank owner on the USS Tripoli CVE-64. Served in the Pacific Theater; home ported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and the South Atlantic home ported out of Norfolk, Virginia. In Recife, Brazil conducted anti-submarine warfare operations against Japanese and German U-boats. October 1943 - October 1945.
