Landed on Omaha Beach in the Normandy Invasion, Battle of the Bulge, Central Europe, Northern France and Rhineland. Credited with four major campaigns. Pioneer 729; made repairs to roads which had been destroyed. Built and maintained airstrips, gasoline tanks and water towers. employed dynamite to blow up roads, bridges and buildings. Received the Presidential Citation.
