Inducted February 10, 1942. He was in the 321st Fighter Central Squadron. His outfit was sent to England in May 1943 and was in the Invasion into France on the second day and got all the way into Germany. There when they declared peace. Discharged December 25, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri. Deceased September 8, 2001.
