Assigned to the 386th Fighter Squadron of the 365th Fighter Group. Assigned to P-47 Fighter Planes. Went to England in December 1943 as part of the 8th Air Force but after a short while, changed to the 9th Air Force. Arrived in France from England on June 29, 1944. When the war was over, he was in Germany.
