Activity During WWII

Served in the 364th Infantry Regiment, assigned to the Military Police. Was stationed in the Aleutian Islands as a message center chief 667. Had complete charge of the battalion message center; authorized to handle confidential and secret matters; also cleared for assignment to cryptographic duties. He was one of the servicemen invited to a sit down dinner with President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Received the American Theatre Service ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Service ribbon and the Good Conduct medal.
