Enlisted September 18, 1942. Served with the 6th Rangers. Overseas in 1944, served in the Pacific. One of the first in Japan. Separated 1946. Served as a camouflaged instructor at Sheppard Field in Wichita Falls, Texas for 2 years. Sent to the Philippines and then as an Invasion force into Japan was stationed at Kyoto, Japan.
