Served from August 1942 until January 1946. Was with Company A, 722nd Military Police Battalion. Escort and Transport of German prisoners of war across the U.S. by train; from the European Theater of Operations to the U.S. by ship, and in France by truck and train. Saw some traffic duty on Red Ball Route. Served as a Sergeant at the Separation Center in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey at the time of discharge.
