Served as an artillery man in the medic division, 795th Anti-Aircraft Artillery, Automatic Weapons Battalion, Medical Detachment in the European Theater of Operations; April 17, 1944 to December 20, 1945. Campaigns include Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. Received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon and WWII Victory Ribbon. Inducted May 26, 1943; Honorable Discharge January 5, 1946.
