A Plank Owner from the USS John W. Weeks DD-701; in the Atlantic from 7-44 to 11-44, then the Pacific. Served with the 3rd and 5th Fleets. Earned 7 Medals with 5 Bronze Stars for support of invasions on Formosa, Luzon, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands, strikes on Honshu, Kobe and in Tokyo Bay and plus strikes on Kyushu, Shikoku.
