Activity During WWII

Entered service 11/26/42. Basic Training, Camp Lee, Virginia. Paratrooper School, Fort Benning, Georgia. Infantry Unit to England in March 1944. Went in on Omaha Beach, France, on June 12, 1944. Wounded at St. Lo on July 31, 1944. After recuperation, served with a Troop movement Company until the war ended. Discharged on January 9, 1946. Received the European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Victory Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge. Deceased April 5, 1972.
