Activity During WWII

Trained at Randolph Field, 1941. Volunteered to original American Volunteer Group (AVG) Flying Tigers under General Claire Chennault. Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross posthumously at Dallas 199, Reunion. When Tigers disbanded in 1942, he flew Captain for China National Airline over the 'Hump', subsidiary of Pan Am, returning home summer of 1945.
