Served with 810th Medical Air Evacuation Squad. Helped take the first wounded off Omaha Beach by air D-Day +8. Flew to wherever the front was, picked up the wounded and took them back to England during the 5 battles including the Rhineland. Were the only squad in the European Theater of Operations until after the Rhineland.
