Activity During WWII

Served from 1941. New Guinea to the Solomon Islands, to the Pacific, Guadalcanal. 4 1/2 years, much of the time in foxholes. Flown to Fiji Island Hospital with malaria and back to his outfit on recovery until the end of the war. Returned to the U.S. on June 28, 1945.
