Inducted March 14, 1941. Served with Company D, 181st Infantry, 26th Division and Company M, 141st Infantry, 36th Texas Division. Campaigns in Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland, Anzio and Naples. Received Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with Bronze Arrowhead, Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star Medal and WWII Victory Medal. Separated November 7, 1945.
