Became a Turret Gunner. Went to school in the States. Went into active duty in 1943 when he was sent to England. He was killed on a mission in Berlin, Germany on June 21, 1944. He and 8 of his fellow men perished after their plane was shot down and burned. They are all buried together in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
