Activity During WWII

Graduated radio operators school, Army Air Force's technical training command in Scott Field, Illinois. Served in the European Area, 321st Transport, 27th Air Group. Radioman on a C-47 that flew between Greenland, England and France. Gave his life in the performance of his duty when his plane crashed over France. Temporarily interred at the U.S. Military Cemetery in Soley, France. Later buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Steger, Illinois.
