U.S. Military Academy in 1943. Page 340, Number 13341. He was killed in an air accident on April 1, 1946 in Germany at 28 years old. He was leading a flight of eight P-51 airplanes on a routine training mission; upon landing his plane he was overrun by the plane following him and he was instantly killed. Served with the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group, 12th Air Force. Received the Silver Star, The Distinguished Flying Cross and 13 Air Medals.
