Served from February 25, 1941 to June 23, 1945. Served as a Technician 3rd Class, Medical Detachment, 8th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division. Served in Normandy, Cherbourg, St. Lo, Liberation of Paris, Belgium, Siegfried Line, Huertgen Forest, Luxembourg, Sauer River, Ardennes, Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland and Bavaria-Munich. Received the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Medical Badge, Distinguished Unit Badge.
