Served with the 63rd Armored Infantry Battalion as an Expert M1 Rifleman. Battles and campaigns in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Received the WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. His service overseas began on January 6, 1945 and ended August 6, 1945.
