Assigned to Company A, 103rd Signal light construction battalion. Enlisted November 29, 1940 and Active service began February 10, 1941. Served as a truck driver light 345; Stationed in Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno campaigns. Awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Service medal, American Defense Service medal, 6 overseas service bars; 91 days lost, Under Automatic Weapon 107 lapel button issued, 4 discharge emblems issued, also received the Good Conduct medal. Discharged on June 15, 1945.
