Activity During WWII

After High School graduation June 6, 1944 she worked in a war plant. She made and assembled landing struts for Navy Hell Cats, in the shipping and receiving department. At the end of the war she worked for the Army Air Forces Regiment and Convalescent Hospital in Coral Gables, Florida. She was secretary to the Mess Officer and Dieticians in food service. Patients were sent from China-Burma-India Theatre for treatment and rehabilitation.
