Served in Company E, 184th Infantry; December 14, 1942 - February 28, 1946. Service in the Aleutian Islands, Central Pacific, Philippine Islands, and Ryukyus. Wounded twice. Received the Purple Heart with 1 oak leaf cluster, 6 bronze stars, Combat Infantryman badge, WWII Victory, and American Theatre ribbons. Deceased September 9, 1983.
