Activity During WWII

Served on the USS Nehenta Bay CVE-74 from February 28, 1944 to September 18, 1945. Served in the Mariana and Western Caroline Islands, Leyte and Luzon Operations including the South China Sea, the Okinawa Gunto Operation, the assault on Saka shima Gunto. Support of the 3rd Fleet strikes on the Japanese Empire Forces in the Occupation of Northern Honshu and Hokkaido, September 1945.
