Activity During WWII

Basic Training at Camp Robinson, Arkansas. Left camp Myles Standish, Massachusetts on October 31, 1943 and loaded on the HMS Mauritania for overseas. Arrived in England and was assigned to Company A, 16th Regiment, 1st Infantry Division in Lyme Regis, England. Made the assault on Omaha Beach on D-day June 6, 1944 and was killed in action on November 16th in the Huertgen Forest, Germany.
