Served with the 346th, 211th Bomb Group. Entered active duty on October 26, 1940 and separated from active duty on October 5, 1945. Liberated two concentration camps. Fought in the Battle of the Bulge, Germany, Africa and on other assignments. Served under General George Patton. He was also in the Coast Guard Reserves. Decorations and Awards: European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, One Purple Heart and the Honorable Service Lapel Button for WWII. Serial and Service Number: 19044148. Date of Birth: September 13, 1918. Date of Death: October 7, 1988.
